Introduction
MFC Equity treats all personal information with utmost care and does everything in its power to keep them confidential. This privacy notice was designed to help you understand what data MFC Equity collects on its website and how the data is treated. For more information or any related concerns, please feel free to contact us at [email protected].

What information do we collect and how do we use them?
MFC Equity collects personal data only for recruitment purposes when Candidates submit their applications. An application contains the Candidate’s first name and surname, email address and a resume – hereafter referred as “Applications” or “Personal Data”. Hereafter, a person who submitted any Personal Data in an application is referred to as a Candidate. MFC Equity does NOT collect any other data such as behavioural or meta data.

What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?
By submitting an application, candidates consent to process their Personal Data in order to evaluate their suitability for MFC Equity.

Where do we store and process personal data?
These Applications are processed via Formspree, for whom MFC Equity does not take any responsibility. Applications are received via email and stored securely in the mailbox of those MFC members who are responsible for recruitment.

When do we share personal data?
Applications are NOT forwarded to or shared with any third parties.

How do we secure personal data?
From a technological perspective, Personal Data is secured by carefully selecting our technological vendors who are Formspree and One.com, the host of our mailboxes.

In order to also minimise human error and/or bad faith, the executive committee of MFC Equity gives access to Applications to the smallest possible stakeholder group, that is MFC members directly involved in recruitment. In addition, we do NOT grant access to these Applications to MFC members by default.

How long do we keep your personal data for?
We retain Applications until we deem our Candidates’ profile relevant for any MFC related position. This might even extend beyond rejecting the Candidate for the particular position he or she applied. However, each Candidate can request the permanent removal of their Personal Data. For this, please message us via [email protected] with the following subject: “Request to remove personal data”. In such case, we permanently delete the email received from Formspree.

Your rights in relation to personal data
As defined by General Data Protection Rules, each candidate has the right to:

  • access to personal information
  • correction and deletion
  • withdrawal of consent (if processing data on condition of consent)
  • data portability
  • restriction of processing and objection
  • lodging a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office
To exercise any of these rights, please message us via [email protected] with the following subject: “Privacy request” and explain your request.
